




Jason Bushong, our amazing consulting winemaker here at Graveyard Vineyards, knows a good wine when he tastes one. And, as a professional wine competition judge for the past nine years, he has tasted a lot of wine!
You’ve probably already detected his nose for wine while reading the winemaker’s notes that describe each of our Graveyard Vineyard wines.
Jason comes by his impressive nose through years of training and practice. Since graduating from Humboldt State University with his B.S. degree in 1996, Jason has continuously pursued studies at University of California, Davis, in the finer aspects of winemaking.
In addition, since his early days as an undergraduate student, Jason has worked in a wide array of wineries, starting as a wine cellar worker but rapidly advancing, first to assistant winemaker, and then to full-time winemaker.
And just think…all that accumulated knowledge goes into the making of Graveyard Vineyard wines!
